Opposition scouting video analysis. Kept in the staff room.
Tag the opponent’s last match in one watch, pull out how they build up and defend corners, and keep it where only your staff can see it.
Scouting an opponent in Enlyo means tagging their match with your own buttons, adding notes to the moments that matter and stitching them into one summary, each segment from the camera angle you choose. It lives in a channel only your staff belong to. Tags from Sportscode, Nacsport, Dartfish or an event feed can be imported.
The job
Know how they play before Saturday. Without the squad reading your notes.
You have their last match, one evening and a staff meeting on Thursday. You want their build-up, their press, their corners and the winger who keeps cutting inside. Watching it twice isn’t an option.
And the work isn’t for everyone. The first team sees the match. The staff room keeps the scouting.

How to scout an opponent in Enlyo
One watch to tag it, one summary to show it, one channel to keep it in.
01
Set up a staff room
Create a channel for scouting and invite only your staff. Who sees a video comes down to the channel it sits in and who belongs to it, so players outside it don’t see what’s inside.
02
Upload their match
Add the footage to the staff channel, with every angle you have. You can start watching as soon as you pick the file, while it uploads.
03
Tag what you’re looking for
Your sport’s buttons are ready, and you can add your own, like Their build-up or Press trigger, each with a key, a colour and the seconds before and after. Press while it plays and the bookmark lands without stopping the video. Ctrl+Z takes back a press.
04
Write it down on the moment
Give a bookmark a title and a note: what they did, who did it, what you’ll tell the squad. The note stays on the match, next to the play it’s about.
05
Stitch a summary
Pick the bookmarks, drag them into order and trim each one. Show every segment from the angle that explains it best, preview the result, then create it in the staff channel.
06
Bring in tags you already have
Coded the match in Sportscode or Nacsport, or got an event feed from a provider such as Wyscout or StatsBomb? Import the file onto the video and every tag becomes a bookmark, with its notes.
On their side
What your players see. And what they don’t.
Nothing from the staff room until you decide. When the squad should see how the opponent defends corners, copy that summary into the team channel or send it as a link. A copy shares the original’s footage, so it doesn’t take storage twice, and the tagged match with your notes stays with the staff.
- Staff-only, by channel
- Share the summary, keep the notes
- Copies don’t use storage twice

Opposition scouting: questions
- Can I import scouting tags from Sportscode or Nacsport?
- Yes. Enlyo imports Sportscode XML, Nacsport XML, Dartfish CSV, CSV and match event feeds. Every tag becomes a bookmark on the video, with its notes. Only the tags move, never the video.
- How do I keep scouting away from players?
- Keep it in a channel only staff belong to. Who can see content comes down to the channel it sits in and who belongs to that channel.
- Can each moment use a different camera angle?
- Yes. In a summary every segment has its own angle, and the same moment can appear twice from two angles.
- Do I need a paid plan for scouting?
- No. Every plan has every feature. Paid plans add storage, which matters once you keep a season of opponents.
Other ways coaches use Enlyo
- Video feedback for playersPause on the play, point at what you mean and talk it through. Your player gets the exact moment and your explanation, and can watch it again before training.
- Sharing clips with playersGive the squad one place for every match and clip, send one player their moment, or open a link for anyone. You decide who sees what, and you can change it any time.
- Match reviewUpload the match on Sunday, tag it in one watch, and send the squad the four minutes that matter before Tuesday’s session.
