Enlyo vs Nacsport: which fits your team?

Updated 6 November 2026

Enlyo and Nacsport both turn match video into clips your players can watch. They're built for different people. Nacsport is an analyst's workbench: a desktop program for coding every match in depth, with statistics, live capture and Nacsport Hub for sharing. Enlyo is where the whole staff and the squad meet around the footage. Tag the match as fast as you watch it, talk a player through it, and everyone has it on their phone before training. Below we go topic by topic, including where Nacsport is the better choice.

How is Enlyo different?

1. Every coach can do the analysis

Open Enlyo in your browser and pick your sport. Its buttons are ready: about 40 sports come set up. Every button has its own key. Press it and the play is marked, while the video keeps running.

Nothing to install, no licence to activate, no tagging window to build first. Upload the match and start watching straight away, from the copy on your computer, while the upload runs in the background.

2. The whole club, one price

We charge for storage, not for coaches, computers or players. Add a coach or a squad and the price stays the same. Every plan has every feature, Free included.

Players watch free. They find the match in their squad's channel, or open a link on their phone.

3. Explain it once, in your own voice

Press record on any page and talk over the footage. Point at the run with the laser pointer. Stop, and the review is ready to share like a clip.

Record it once. They watch it as often as they need. It's in every plan; in Nacsport, screen and audio recording is part of Elite, its top edition.

Getting started

Enlyo. It runs in any modern browser, on the laptop you already have. Your sport's buttons are there the moment you sign up. The desktop app for Mac and Windows is optional; it adds uploads that survive a restart.

Nacsport is a program you install and activate on each computer. It asks for Windows 10 or later with an NVIDIA graphics card, or a Mac with Apple M1 or newer. Nacsport offers free tagging-window templates to download, and Nacsport Hub has a simpler tagging window in the browser, with up to 24 buttons.

Tagging a match

In Enlyo, one key press makes one bookmark. Each button covers a window you set, for example 15 seconds before the press and 5 after, so you catch the moment even when you react late. By the time the recording reaches the final whistle, the match is tagged. Jump from one bookmark to the next and clip what matters. Filmed from two sides? Add both recordings to the match and switch between them with the number keys, in every plan. Recordings that start together play in sync.

Buttons on the left, the match in the middle, bookmarks landing on the right as it plays.

In Nacsport you build tagging windows: panels of buttons for categories and, from Basic+, descriptors such as outcome or player. Higher editions add pitch locations (Scout), clustered buttons and flows (Pro) and several analysts tagging one match live (Elite). Basic allows 25 buttons per window, Basic+ 50, Scout and up any number. Basic and Basic+ show one camera angle, Scout two, Pro and Elite four.

To tag a match in one watch: Enlyo. To code who, where and with what outcome: Nacsport, clearly.

Sharing with players

Enlyo. Sharing comes with every plan, Free too, for any number of players. Each squad gets its own channel. The first team sees the match. The staff room keeps the scouting. Readers watch, contributors add, admins manage.

A squad's channel: its own folders, matches, clips and reviews.

A public link plays on any phone, no account needed. People you share with by email sign up free. Public links can't be downloaded, and players watch in the phone's browser; the iPhone and Android apps are coming.

Nacsport shares through Nacsport Hub, a separate subscription. UK reseller AnalysisPro lists Hub plans by storage and by users: £400 a year for 40 GB and 50 users, up to £2,000 for 300 GB and 300 users. Hub has a Team Channel for discussion, apps for iOS and Android and, since September 2025, public links.

Explaining plays

To talk a player through it: Enlyo. Record from any page, point with the laser pointer, share when you stop. The review plays back at once, while it uploads. Summaries take you from ninety minutes to four: one video from a match's bookmarks, trimmed per segment, with the camera angle you pick.

Recording a review: the match paused on the play, the laser pointer on the run.

For drawings that stay on the clip: Nacsport. KlipDraw is in every edition. Animated drawings come with an annual licence or active support, and drawings that follow players (KlipDraw Motion) are a paid upgrade. Presentations add slow motion, text and, from Basic+, slides.

Data in and out

Enlyo, on every plan. Tags come in and go out as Nacsport XML, Sportscode XML, Dartfish CSV or a plain CSV. Event feeds from providers such as Wyscout or StatsBomb arrive as bookmarks. Tags go out as markers for Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, or as YouTube chapters.

Nacsport imports Wyscout XML from Basic+, Sportscode timelines from Scout, and Opta and Gamebreaker data from Scout on Windows. It exports XML from Basic+.

That makes the two work well side by side. The analyst codes in Nacsport, exports the XML, and the coaches and players work with the same tags in Enlyo.

Nacsport, clearly. Dashboards in every edition. A data matrix and Excel export from Basic+. Data combined across matches in Pro (up to three) and Elite (any number), and heatmaps in Elite. Scout, Pro and Elite include Nacsport AI, which writes reports from your own tags.

Enlyo doesn't make statistics. It puts its work into the video.

Match day

Nacsport. It records live from capture cards and IP cameras (four at once in Elite), tags live, sends dashboards (from Basic+) and tagged clips (from Scout) to the bench through the Nacsport Live app, and works offline.

Enlyo starts after the final whistle, and needs an internet connection. Upload the match and you can start watching at once, while it uploads.

Enlyo runs in any modern browser, with a desktop app for Mac (Apple silicon and Intel) and Windows. It keeps 720p and 1080p versions of each video, not the original file. Nacsport runs on Windows 10 or later with an NVIDIA graphics card, or on a Mac with Apple M1 or newer; some features, such as Opta and Gamebreaker import, are Windows-only.

When to choose Enlyo vs Nacsport

  • Want every coach tagging, and the squad watching before training, for one price? Go with Enlyo.
  • Need in-depth coding, statistics, lasting drawings or live capture on match day? Go with Nacsport.

Recommendations by coach type

  • For a youth or grassroots coach: Enlyo. Start free tonight; your sport's buttons are ready and players watch from a link.
  • For a club with several squads: Enlyo. One workspace, a channel per squad, any number of coaches and players, and no licence per computer.
  • For a coach on an Intel Mac, or a laptop without an NVIDIA graphics card: Enlyo, which runs in any modern browser.
  • For a club whose analyst already uses Nacsport: both. The analyst codes in Nacsport; coaches and players work with the same tags in Enlyo, through XML.
  • For a dedicated analyst who codes every match: Nacsport Scout or higher, for descriptors, pitch locations and dashboards.
  • For analysis on the bench during the match: Nacsport, with live capture and the Live app.
  • For a coach on Nacsport Basic: if you mainly clip and share, Enlyo replaces Basic and Hub together. If you want to grow into coding and statistics, Nacsport Basic+ or Scout is the next step.

Switching from Nacsport to Enlyo

Enlyo imports Nacsport XML. Each tag becomes a bookmark, with its code as the title and its free-text note as the note. You see every code and its count before you confirm. Only the tags move; you upload the video yourself, one video per import. Descriptors and code colours stay behind, because a bookmark has no place for them, and Nacsport's period markers are skipped. Nacsport exports XML from Basic+.

Enlyo also exports Nacsport XML, for when you take tags the other way: each bookmark goes out as a tag, with its note as free text.

How we compared

Nacsport facts come from Nacsport's website, FAQ, edition comparison, release notes and app store pages, and prices from UK reseller AnalysisPro; each table links its sources. Enlyo facts come from our product documentation and the product itself. We left out review-site ratings: neither product has enough public reviews to say anything useful.

Frequently asked questions

Do players need to pay or have an account? In Enlyo, players never pay, and there's no limit on how many. Public links play without an account; channels and email shares need a free one. In Nacsport, players don't need a desktop licence: they watch through Hub (paid by the club, with users per plan), Hub public links or exported video.

Does Enlyo work on a Mac? Yes, in the browser and in the desktop app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Nacsport runs on Macs with Apple M1 or newer since June 2023.

Can I use Enlyo next to Nacsport? Yes. Export XML from Nacsport Basic+ or higher and import it into Enlyo; the tags arrive as bookmarks on your video. Enlyo exports Nacsport XML too.

Can I try both? Enlyo's Free plan has no time limit and needs no card. Nacsport has a 30-day trial of the edition you pick (Pro and Elite on request) and a free Hub trial.

Will my footage work? Enlyo takes MP4 and MOV files of any length; upload a whole match, or several at once, as long as it fits your storage. Nacsport works with local files and live capture devices; Veo footage can be downloaded and opened in it (per reseller AnalysisPro).

What support do I get? Enlyo: a contact form for support and sales, and help setting up a club; the app is in English. Nacsport: a contact form, live chat, FAQs, YouTube tutorials, webinars and paid courses; support comes with annual licences, or with the Support and Update Service for lifetime licences.

Is my data secure, and where is it stored? Enlyo B.V. is based in the Netherlands. Video is stored and streamed by Bunny.net, under a data processing agreement. Passwords are checked against known breaches, and you can log in with an emailed code; Enlyo has no two-factor login or single sign-on. Nacsport is made by New Assistant for Coach Sport, S.L. in Spain and shows ISO 27001, 9001 and 14001 badges; Hub has had multi-factor authentication since September 2026.

Is Enlyo right for you?

Here's the short pitch. We think Enlyo is the right choice if:

  • you want every coach on the staff able to tag a match, in one watch;
  • you want the plays with your squad before training, on their phones;
  • you'd rather talk a player through a clip than build a presentation;
  • you want one price for the whole club, and to start free.
