Enlyo is volleyball video analysis software for coaches and clubs. Pick volleyball when you sign up and eight buttons are ready: ace, kill, block and opponent error, for and against. One press per rally marks how each point ended. Gather serve receive and blocking into summaries, explain them over the footage and send them to your team. Players watch free.

Starter buttons

The volleyball buttons you start with. Eight of them, four keys.

Volleyball starts with the four ways a rally ends. Press the letter when your side wins the point and Shift with it when they do. The bookmark reaches back 15 seconds, enough for most rallies.

  • AShift+A

    Ace

Every point straight from the serve, yours and theirs.

  • IShift+I

    Kill

Every point won by an attack.

  • BShift+B

    Block

Every point won at the net by a block.

  • OShift+O

    Opponent error

Every point the other side gave away.

Want serve receive, transition or a rotation as well? Add a button with its own title and key, and a longer window if the rally needs it. Beach volleyball starts with the same buttons.

How tagging works

Volleyball review

Rotations, serve receive and the block. What volleyball coaches go back to.

A match is a run of rallies, and volleyball coaches look at them by phase and by rotation: the pass and the attack after it on one side, the serve and the block on the other.

Serve receive

Add a Serve receive button with a short window, 3 seconds before and 5 after. Press it on every serve you take and you have each pass your receivers made, ready to put in one summary for the passers.

Rotations

Add a button per rotation, each on a letter key, or write the rotation in each bookmark’s note. Then a summary of the points lost in one rotation shows the team where the line-up leaks.

Blocking

Block for and against are on B and Shift+B. Pause at the net, zoom in on the hands with Shift and +, point at the seam between your blockers and say who should have closed it.

Serving

Ace marks the points straight from the serve. Put the aces you conceded together for your passers and your own together for the servers, each trimmed from the toss to the ball landing.

From match to team

From the final whistle to your team’s phones.

A league match, from the last rally to the next practice.

  1. 01

    Upload the match

One camera high behind the end line, one at the side? Upload both and flip between them with 1 and 2 as you watch.

  2. 02

    Tag it in one watch

Press I for your kill, Shift+A for their ace. The rallies keep playing, one press per point, and each lands in the bookmarks list.

  3. 03

    Cut clips and a summary

Put every ace against into one summary for your passers. Trim each rally to the serve and the first contact, and pick its angle.

  4. 04

    Record the review

Pause on the block, point at the seam between the blockers and say what you saw. The team sees your face in the corner as you talk.

  5. 05

    Share it with the team

Post it in the team’s channel, or send your libero a link to her receptions alone.

Freeze the pass, point to where the setter needed it and say so. The stroke fades on its own, and the review goes out like a clip. More on recorded reviews

Sharing

A channel per team. The staff room stays private.

Volleyball clubs often run women’s and men’s teams and a youth section side by side. A channel per team keeps each to its own matches. Invite players by email or a join link.

How channels and sharing work

Women’s first team

Matches, serve receive clips and reviews for the whole roster, on any phone.

Youth

A channel per team, so each one sees its own matches and nothing else.

Staff room

Coaches only. Scouting and the next opponent’s rotations stay out of the players’ view.

Import & export

Bring the tags you already have.

Coded matches in Sportscode, Nacsport or Dartfish before? Import the file and every rally you coded lands on the match as a bookmark. Exporting works the other way round, and YouTube chapters let you post a full match with the rallies you tagged marked in the description.

Something else you’d like to know? Ask us.

Does it work for beach volleyball?

Yes. Pick beach volleyball when you sign up and you start with the volleyball buttons: ace, kill, block and opponent error, each for and against. Rename them, change their keys or add your own whenever you like.

Can I tag by rotation?

Yes, with buttons of your own. Add one per rotation with its own letter key, or keep the starter buttons and write the rotation in each bookmark’s note. Enlyo doesn’t track rotations for you.

How much of a rally does one press keep?

15 seconds before the press and 5 after, to start. Press as the rally ends and that covers most of them. For long rallies, give the button a longer window in its settings.

Can I watch from behind the end line and from the side?

Yes, with two recordings. Add the second to the match as an angle and switch with 1 and 2. In a summary each rally can play from the angle that shows it best.

Can I share one passer’s receptions with just her?

Yes. Put them in a summary and share it with her by email, or send a link set to “Anyone with the link” that plays on her phone. Nobody else sees it unless you share it with them too.

See it on your own volleyball footage.
