Enlyo is rugby video analysis software for coaches and clubs. Pick rugby union when you sign up and eight buttons are ready: try, turnover, penalty and lineout won, for and against. Mark each by key, give the pack its lineouts and the backs their line breaks as summaries, and talk them through it. Players watch free.
Rugby review
Phases, the breakdown and the set piece. What rugby coaches go back to.
Rugby review splits between the set piece and open play: lineouts and scrums for the forwards, phases and the breakdown for everyone. Each fits Enlyo a little differently.
Lineouts
Lineout won marks every one, on your throw and theirs. Add a Lineout lost button on a key of its own. Then put the throws in one summary for the pack, each trimmed to the call, the lift and the drive.
Scrums
Add a Scrum button. Slow the engagement down with < and step through the hit frame by frame, so the front row sees its height and binding at the moment it counts.
Phase play and line breaks
Add a Line break button and give it 20 seconds before the press, so the bookmark holds the phases that built it. Pause on the last carry and say which line the support should have run.
Discipline at the breakdown
Penalty is on A. Write in each bookmark’s note what the referee gave it for, then line up the penalties against in one summary, in the order you want to talk them through.
From match to squad

- 01
Upload the match
Filmed from the stand, with a second camera on the try line? Upload both; the try-line footage sits on the same match as angle 2.
- 02
Tag it in one watch
Press T for your try, Shift+A for their penalty. You never stop the footage, and the bookmarks keep the names of your buttons.
- 03
Cut clips and a summary
Put every lineout from the match into one summary for the pack. Trim each one to the throw and the drive, and pick its angle.
- 04
Record the review
Pause on the carry, point at the gap with the laser pointer and say which line to run. The squad hears you and sees you on webcam.
- 05
Share it with the squad
Post it to the 1st XV channel for everyone, or send the openside a link with just his breakdown work.
Stop at the ruck, point at the jackler who got in and say who should have cleared him. The pointer leaves no mark; the review is shared like a clip. More on recorded reviews
Sharing
A channel per squad. The staff room stays private.
A rugby squad splits easily: forwards and backs, 1st XV and 2nd XV, with a staff that keeps the game plan to itself. Make a channel for each group and invite by email or join link.
How channels and sharing work1st XV
The whole squad’s match footage, clips and reviews, for every player selected.
Forwards
Lineout and scrum clips for the pack and its coach, out of everyone else’s way.

Coaches only. Opposition footage and the game plan stay out of the players’ view.

Something else you’d like to know? Ask us.
Does it work for rugby league and sevens?
Yes. Rugby sevens starts with the union buttons: try, turnover, penalty and lineout won. Rugby league has its own: try, line break, error and penalty. Each comes as a for and an against button, and you can change them whenever you like.
Can the forwards have their own clips?
Yes. Make a Forwards channel, add the pack and file your lineout and scrum clips straight into it. The backs never scroll past them in the 1st XV channel.
Can I review a match from the try line?
Yes, if a second camera filmed it. Add that recording to the match as an angle and switch between the stand and the try line with 1 and 2, in the player and per segment in a summary.
Can I change how much of a phase one press captures?
Yes. Every button has its own seconds before and after the press, 15 and 5 to start. Give Line break more before and Try more after, and each bookmark covers the stretch you want.
What does it cost for a club with several XVs?
One workspace holds every team, each in its own channel. Every plan has every feature. Free gives 10 GB and plays in 720p; paid plans add storage from €9 a month for the whole workspace. Players watch free.
